CA is a family-oriented church. We believe it is the parent’s responsibility to train and instruct their children and that the church should not take over that function. But we also believe the church should help parents wherever it is appropriate.
Nursery
On Sundays we have a beautifully appointed nursery staffed by a paid worker assisted by church members. Paid staff must submit to a criminal and background records check. Each assistant must be a CA member for at least one year. Inexperienced assistants are partnered with veterans to ensure the best in child care.
There is also a private room for nursing mothers just off the sanctuary with comfortable furniture and one-way glass to enable mothers and their infants to nurse in privacy while remaining a part of the service.
CA Kids: Children’s Ministry
Sunday School meets during the 11:00 AM service for children ages 4-11. Through live music, video, and interactive instruction children experience a chronological study of Scripture. Every story in the Bible is a small piece of a much bigger story—God’s redemptive story. Sin entered the world and affects everything, but God already had a plan to show His grace to people through His Son (2 Tim. 1:9). The Bible says that God began His plan to rescue people from sin before He even created the world! (Eph. 1:4-6)
Age-appropriate classes are provided. All children are welcome to this time of engaging, practical, life-giving instruction just for kids!
Youth
With a larger group of tweens and teens on the way, plans for the formation of a youth group are now underway. Learn more and help with ideas, activities, and planning. Please email the Director.
