George Stevens and Jo-Ann

George Stevens has served on the Deacon Board, as an Elder, and as the overseer of Christian education. George was ordained as Associate Pastor in 2006. George and Jo-Ann have been married for 42 years and have three adult children, Luke, Caitlin, and Grace, and four grandchildren.

Jo-Ann oversees CA’s dance and flags worship ministry. An accomplished performer and instructor of worship dance and ballet, Jo-Ann founded and directs a school to train people to worship Christ with the dance.

Ben Schack and Easley

Ben and Easley Schack were newlyweds when they came to CA in 2009, having married in 2007.

They have shared their lives together and the births and lives of their three children Isaiah, Ruth, and Jeremiah with us. In addition to serving first as deacon and then elder, they have blessed the church with their service through bible study, ministry to nursery, children, youth, and adults, as well as outreaches to the community.

Mike Brennan and Vicki

Mike and Vicki Brennan met during high school in upstate New York. They were married in 1977 while Mike was in the Navy stationed in Little Creek, Virginia. Later they moved to the Carolinas. They have two married daughters and eight grandchildren. Mike was saved by Jesus in 1987, and they joined Christian Assembly Church. They have served CA in many capacities over the years. Mike has been a deacon and Vicki has helped with the CA Food Pantry since its inception. Mike and Vicki have been self-employed most of their married lives. Recently retired from their paving & grading business, they have been asking the Lord, what’s next? In 2025 God answered and called Mike to be an elder and Vicki to be the church treasurer. They look forward to continuing serving the body of Christ at CA in these roles.
