Brett Spiers and Kelly
In 2011 Brett was ordained as an Elder of CA before being installed as Senior Pastor in April 2018. Brett and Kelly are originally from Williamsburg, VA. Meeting in a church youth group, they married in 2004 and moved to Durham. They joined CA in 2005, and began leading the Youth Group. They enjoy creating, planning, and assisting in outreaches. Spreading the love of Christ both locally and internationally, they have led short term mission trips. They are the parents of four children, Judah, Josiah, Moriah and Asher.

Dick Bigelow
Dick Bigelow served as Associate Pastor and Elder for many years and is now Pastor Emeritus. Dick works closely with churches and groups supporting the Church in Central Asia. A true shepherd, Dick has led many to a deeper relationship with Christ, is an able counselor, and leads CA’s healing prayer ministry. Dick and his late wife Marrie raised six children with nearly 20 grandchildren.

George Stevens and Jo-Ann
George Stevens has served on the Deacon Board, as an Elder, and as the overseer of Christian education. George was ordained as Associate Pastor in 2006. George and Jo-Ann have been married for 26 years and have three adult children, Luke, Caitlin, and Grace.
Jo-Ann oversees CA’s dance and flags worship ministry. An accomplished performer and instructor of worship dance and ballet, Jo-Ann founded and directs a school to train people to worship Christ with the dance.

Wayne Littleton and Saundra
Wayne and Saundra Littleton joined CA in 1975. They have been married 45 years, have 4 children, 12 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Wayne was ordained an Elder in 2001. Wayne has served as the director of the CA Emergency Food Pantry. Saundra has coordinated women’s ministries, and led the CA nursery. Together they serve Durham with Emergency Chaplains and lead a CA small group.

Ben Schack and Easley
Ben and Easley Schack were newlyweds when they came to CA in 2009, having married in 2007.
They have shared their lives together and the births and lives of their three children Isaiah, Ruth, and Jeremiah with us. In addition to serving first as deacon and then elder, they have blessed the church with their service through bible study, ministry to nursery, children, youth, and adults, as well as outreaches to the community.
