Education

CA has a strong emphasis on educating, training and equipping believers. We try to ensure that there are many opportunities to get the kind of biblical and practical education necessary to lead a productive and fulfilling life. We offer classes at various times to meet the needs of our members, and we focus these classes to be age-appropriate. We offer adult Bible studies, Children’s Ministry, married couple, men, women, teen, and young adult classes. Some of the classes that we have offered, are currently offering, or will be offering in the future are listed below.

CA School of Ministry (ChASM)

Our job is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. We want every believer to be trained and prepared for the calling that the Lord has given them to do, whether that be a ministry within the church, at school, on the job, in your family, on the mission field, or wherever the Lord sends you to fulfill your destiny in Christ.

In order to better accomplish that task, we established the CA School of Ministry. Our instructors include our pastors, staff, ministers and teachers from within our congregation who have received training and experience in the various disciplines, and seminary-trained instructors for specialized courses.

Jim Harford is the Dean of the CA School of Ministry. A graduate of the GCI system of leadership training, he leads the school in its mission to provide a seminary level education that is available to our entire congregation, to those who are called into full-time ministry and to raise the level of maturity and leadership within the church.

Overview

The program is designed to allow completion of a basic curriculum in a five-year period, assuming a load of one course per quarter. Optionally, a student may choose to take elective courses. All classes are available for audit for students who are not seeking ministry certification.
