Pastor’s Ordination

Featured

CA is in the process of transitioning Pastors.  On April 15th Pastor Dub will retire and Pastor Brett Spiers will take on the role of Senior Pastor.  Prior to the transfer of leadership, Brett will be ordained on Sunday, February 4th.  The community is invited to participate in both of these happy occasions.  Please pray for CA and join us as  witnesses of the faithfulness of God in yet another generation.

CA hopes and prays that 2018 will be a good year for you.  We encourage you to remember to follow Jesus with your whole heart and He will refresh and prosper you.  Is. 40:28-31, Have you not known?  Have you not heard?  The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth neither faints nor is weary.  His understanding is unsearchable.  He gives power to the weak and to those who have no might He increases strength.  Even the youths shall faint and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall.  But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”   Happy New Year to one and all!

Spring Sermon Series

The Second Coming of Jesus Christ is the great hope of the church.  However, there remains a lot of dogma among the beliefs of Christians with regard to the timing and events surrounding the Second Coming of Jesus Christ that is not anchored in the doctrine of Scripture.  How can Thessalonians help?  There are no other books of the Bible where the doctrine of the second coming is more prominent.  It is the main theme of both letters and it is mentioned in every chapter.  Want to know more?  We hope you will join us for this study.  Worship is at 11:00 on Sunday.  Nursery and Children’s Ministry are provided to age 14.  Dress is casual.

Summer Sermon Series

ambassadors

This Summer we’ve been learning some of the lessons from the Minor Prophets of the Old Testament that have application for our lives today.  Having completed our study of Habakkuk, we’re moving on to the Book of Daniel.  This is one of the most compelling stories of the Bible and it has a lot to say to us about how we are to live as Christians in our city, nation, and world.  Come and see what you can learn from the story of Daniel Sunday at 11:00 AM.  Dress is always casual.
